Crumbs, I really hope my old pill suits me - it took a few hits and misses to find one that worked well the first time and I really don't want to have to go through that process again, it was painful!

You're right about the sugar pills (or at least having the 7 day break, etc) ... I know in my head that even a heavy AF doesn't actually cause you to lose much blood, but I hate the thought of voluntarily giving any up when I'm still so very tired from DS2 not sleeping for the first 8 odd months of his life ...

Donating blood is 470ml, a period is normally only 35-60ml and that includes other stuff ...

I just am not happy about having such a heavy one 2 weeks after the last one. It's like my pre-pill days all over again, and I'm glad to be rid of those.

And whenever I see old brown blood and clots like this my first thought is always that I've had a missed pregnancy
